Abstract

New Schiff bases containing macrocyclic 3,5-pyridine pentapeptide, linear 3,5-bis(tripeptido)pyridine methyl ester and hydrazide moieties have been synthesized from a dipeptide ester. The synthesized compounds have been tested as analgesic and anticonvulsant agents using Voltarene (R) and Carbamazepine (R) as reference drugs.
