Abstract

A number of indole and indazole derivatives have been synthesized and evaluated for their anti-inflammatory activity. The tested compounds show 31.6 to 17.1% inhibition at 100 mg/kg dose compared, to indomethacin which shows 32.3% inhibition at 50 mg/ kg dose in carrageenin induced paw edema in rats.
