Abstract

Five series of substituted p-(naphtho[1,2-c]pyrazol-2-yl)benzenesulfonylurea 3, thioureas 4 as well as their cyclized derivatives 5-7 were prepared for evaluation as antibacterial agents. Preliminary biological testing revealed that some of these compounds possess weak antibacterial activity.
