Abstract
Five new Charge-Transfer (CT) complexes, formed from the of 4-substituted-N-allyl-1.8-naphthalimide derivatives as donors and sigma-acceptor (iodine or pi-acceptors) have been investigated. The data obtained indicate the formation of CT-complexes with the general formula of [(donors)(acceptor)(n)], where n= 1 in the case of [(donors)]I-2, [(donors)(DDQ)], [(donors)(CLA)], [(donors)(PA)] complexes and [(donors)(TCNQ)] except for [(4MAN)(TCNQ)(2)], and [(4PAN)(TCNQ)(2)] where n = 2.
