Some new 1, 2, 4-triazino[4, 3-c]quinazolinone and/or 1, 2, 4-triazino[2, 3-c]quinazolinone derivatives have been synthesized via interaction of 2-methyl-4(3H)-quinazolinone (1) and/or 3-arylamino-6-iodo-2-methyl-4-quinazolinone (17) with chloroacetyl chloride followed by cyclization with some nitrogen compounds. The structures of the products have been established by chemical reactions, elemental analyses and/or spectral studies.
