Abstract
Some new fluorine compounds bearing 6-azauracil-substituted pyrazolo-pyrido-pyrazoles (7-20) have been synthesized, starting from heterocyclization of N-4-substituted semicarbazide (6) with alpha,beta-bifunctionals in different medium and conditions. The structures of the new compounds were deduced on the basis of their elemental analysis and spectral data. The antimycobacterial activity of the compounds was also screened using isoniazid as a standard drug. The compounds 7-9 showed considerable activity, while compounds 11, 12, 13, 16, 18, and 20 exhibited moderate activity.
