Abstract
A NOVEL series of 1,2,4-triazole Schiff's bases; 1,2,4-triazolothiadiazinesand triazolothiadiazoles was prepared from reaction of 4-amino-3-(N-phthalimidomethyl)-1,2,4-triazole-5-thione and different aldehydes, hydrazonyl chlorides, square-haloketones, and substituted benzoic acids. The products have been evaluated for their antimicrobial activity and the Schiff's bases were found to exhibit an antimicrobial activity.
