Abstract
New fused heterocyclic compounds of cyclopentano derivatives have been obtained by the reaction of 2,3,7,8-tetrahydropyrido[2,3-g]quinoline-4,5,9,10 (1H,6H) tetraone 1 with acrylonitrile derivatives 2a-d. Treatment of 1 with arenediazonium chlorides to yields the corresponding arylhydrazones which on reaction with ethyl cyanoacetate furnish the desired fused pyridazines.
