Abstract

Bis(arydiazenyl)thiazoles bis(thiosemicarbazones) poly(arydiazenyl)thiazoles poly(thiosemicarbazones) α-keto-hydrazonoyl chlorides
A novel series of bis- and poly(arydiazenyl)thiazoles were prepared in good yields by the reaction of the appropriate α-keto-hydrazonoyl chlorides with the corresponding bis- and poly(hydrazinecarbothioamide) in refluxing EtOH/DMF in the presence of few drops of TEA. Based on elemental analyses as well as spectral data, the structures of the new compounds were confirmed.
