Abstract
The five isolated solid complexes as (NH4)(3)[Nd(L)(3)(H2O)(3)] center dot H2O, (NH4)(3)[Tb(L)(3)(H2O)(3)] center dot 2H(2)O, (NH4)(3)[Er(L)(3)(H2O)(3)] center dot H2O, (NH4)(3)[Ce(L)(3)(H2O)(3)] center dot 5H(2)O and (NH4)(4)[Th(L)(4)(H2O)(2)] center dot 4H(2)O which resulted from the interaction between Nd(III), Tb(III), Er(III), Ce(III) and Th(IV) ions and flourecin chelate were interpretative using elemental analysis (C, H and N), molar conductivity, (infrared, electronic and 1H-NMR) spectra and thermogravimetric analysis to achieve the speculated suitable formula. The calculated and observed data of C%, N%, H%, metal (III)% or metal (IV)% content are in a good accordance with each other, and with the proposed structure of Nd(III), Tb(III), Er(III), Ce(III) and Th(IV) complexes. This paper aimed to achieved two targets firstly, study the fluorescene intensity and thermal stabilities of fluorescein dye in complexation state with different metals Ce3+, Tb3+, Th4+ and La3+, the secondly item is to study the biological activity of these complexes against antibacterial and the antifungal species.
