Abstract

Chemistry Chemistry, Inorganic & Nuclear Chemistry, Organic Physical Sciences Science & Technology
A single crystal X-ray diffraction study of the title compound has shown that the geometry within the OSO2C6H4Me-p group is very similar to that in organic tosylates, but the Si-O-S angle (128.0(5)-degrees) is significantly larger than the corresponding C-O-S angle (ca. 118-degrees) in the latter species.
