Abstract
In this manuscript, we designed moving average control chart for exponential distribution using EWMA statistic using multiple dependent state (MDS) sampling. The necessary measures for in-control and out of control process are given for the proposed control chart. The proposed control chart is efficient than the existing control chart in detecting the shift in the process. The application of the proposed control chart is discussed with the help of simulation data.
