Abstract
In this paper, we propose a new family of distributions by using distribution function of Gauss hypergeometric function distribution. We have developed general expansion for the density function of the proposed family, and studied some basic properties of the proposed family of distributions. General expressions for estimation of model parameters have also been given. Finally, a real life data example to show the application of the proposed family is given.
