Abstract
Keywords: crown margin, periodontal health, subgingivally supragingivally, clinical attachment loss. 1.INTRODUCTION The soft tissues around the teeth form the basic foundation for appropriate aesthetics, function, and well-being of dentition. Patients with history of: (i) smoking or substance abuse, (ii) local or systemic disease, (iii) current steroid/chemotherapy, (iv) head and neck irradiation, were excluded. Efforts were made to rule out all the other factors, like lack of attached gingiva, violation of biologic width, for not affecting the clinical results of the study [10,12]. [...]it is recommended to use supragingival margins, whenever feasible, as standard procedures.
