Abstract
In this paper, we apply the interacting boson model-1 (IBM-1) formula for B(E2) analytically deduced in U(5) limit to calculate the reduced transition probabilities for a few yrast transitions in (10)4Ru nuclei. The parameters in the formula are deduced based on the experimental value of B(E2, 2(+) -> 0(+)). The calculated results are compared with the available previous experimental values. The associated quadrupole moments and deformation parameters have also calculated. Moreover, we have studied the systematic B(E2) values, intrinsic quadrupole moments and deformation parameters as a function of even atomic number from Z = 44 to 48 with neutron number N = 60. The results of this calculation are in good agreement with the previous experimental results.
