Abstract
In this paper, the Lie symmetry analysis is performed for (2+1)dimensional coupled Burgers equations. Then we derive the symmetry group theorem. At the same time, a great many of new exact solutions are obtained by applying the group theorem and given solutions. Meanwhile, 1-soliton solutions of the coupled Burgers equations are obtained by use of the Ansatz method. In addition, we also obtain conservation laws of the equations with the corresponding Lie symmetry. At last, suitable Painleve truncated expansions are used to derive new exact solutions of bell-type.
