Abstract
The following paper highlights two challenges those students with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and students with attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) face in mainstream classrooms along with some strategies and resources to deal with them. The paper starts by discussing
the sensory sensitivity of students with ASD, and it is an effect on students in classrooms. It also covers some strategies that teachers use to reduce the oversensitivity of students with ASD. Then, the intention and distractibility of students with ADHD are discussed along with some strategies
to deal with these challenges.
