Abstract

Chemistry Chemistry, Multidisciplinary Physical Sciences Science & Technology
The ultrafine aluminum powder alloyed with rare-earth metals (Ce, Sm), which is used as a support for the cobalt-containing catalysts of the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, was studied by the temperature-programmed reduction method. The presence of rare-earth metals in the composition of the ultrafine aluminum powder changes the reduction process of cobalt oxides on the catalytic system surface.
