Abstract
Background: COVID-19 vaccination is the most effective method for stopping the pandemic and preventing the emergence of complications among diseased individuals. Many different vaccines are under observation, and people are highly stressed and confused due to the pandemic state and have lots of unanswered questions in their minds. Therefore, the study aimed to summarize the most commonly asked questions by patients regarding COVID-19 vaccines.Materials and Methods: All questions related to COVID-19 vaccination asked between April 2021 and May 2021 were collected and the 10 most frequently asked questions were selected. The narrative evaluation was compiled from various sources, including the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and databases such as Cochrane, PubMed, and Google Scholar. Results: Most questions were related to the safety of COVID-19 vaccines. While some questions were general, such as the number of doses, side effects, vaccine interchangeability, and requirement of testing before vaccination, other questions were specific to the vaccine safety in persons with autoimmune diseases, bleeding disorders, organ transplant recipients, pregnant and breastfeeding women, and allergic individuals. The appropriate answers to these questions were validated by different authorized sources mentioned above. Conclusion: This research outlined the most important aspects of COVID-19 vaccines and clarified several misconceptions raised by the general population.
