Abstract
The Anaphothrips genus-group is recorded from Saudi Arabia for the first time. Nine species are recorded in four genera, Aptinothrips Haliday, Anaphothrips Uzel, Eremiothrips Priesner and Psilothrips Hood, and Eremiothrips aldryhimi sp. nov. and E. unicolour sp. nov. are described. Variation in male sternal pore plates of An. graminum Priesner is discussed, and the micropterous morph of E. similis Bhatti is recorded for the first time. An illustrated key to the genera and species is provided.
