concentration. A theoretical model of the prepared glasses’ gamma-ray shielding ability has also been developed. With increasing photon energy, the mass attenuation coefficient values were found to reduce. As a result, G 5 glass provides more shielding than other glasses. Incorporating Cr

into the investigated glass compositions has a significant influence on their mechanical and gamma shielding features, according to the findings of this study. In the future, this research could be used to improve mechanical efficiency and reduce radiation’s harmful effects on organisms.
