Abstract
Excitation functions and angular distributions of eight proton groups from the
23Na(d,p)
24Na reaction leading to levels of
24Na with excitation energy up to 3.41 MeV have been measured. The total and differential cross-sections are given. The measured excitation functions show broad maxima at various deuteron energies, which indicate contribution from the compound-nucleus mechanism. Angular distributions show a stripping pattern, predominantly at deuteron energies higher than 2.0 MeV.
