Abstract
The impact of nanoparticles size on the cohesive energy was investigated by Morse potential for different metallic cubic structures. The cohesive energy of nanoparticles decreases with reducing its size, which is agree with corresponding the experimental values of the cohesive energy for Mo and W nanoparticle. It is found that if the parameter a of Morse potential increases then the range of the interatomic potential decreases. (C) 2019 Published by Elsevier B.V.
