By utilizing the logarithmic transformation and symbolic computation with ansatz functions technique, W-shaped rational solitons are obtained for the nonlinear Schrodinger equation with anti-cubic nonlinearity. Meanwhile, the interaction between rational solitons and the kink wave is also investigated.
