Abstract
In this work, the numerical solutions of the nonlinear bioheat theory with energy dissipation are constructed to estimate the temperature due to external heat sources by utilizing some measurement information on the biological tissue. The heating sources components in the nonlinear hyperbolic bioheat transfers model such as the rate of blood perfusions and the metabolic heating generations are experimentally considered temperature-dependent functions. Due to the nonlinearity of the governing formulation, the finite element method is adopted to obtain the solution to this problem. Numerical results for temperature are graphically presented.
