Abstract

Two limited series of alkan-1, 15-diols and alkan-15-one-1-ols with chain lengths of 30, 31 and 32 carbon atoms have been isolated from extracts of Unit I (0–3000 yr BP) and Unit II (3000–7000 yr BP) Black Sea sediments.
