A practical synthesis route to a terminally linked homodimeric bisdistamycin analog is described. In this analog the two strands of tricarboxamides of the pyrrole-pyrrole-pyrrole array are tethered from the nitrogen atom of the terminal pyrrole by a bisethoxyethane chain.
