Abstract
Nanocomposites containing belnds of carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC)/polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) by a variation of tungsten trioxide contents were fabricated by the Laser Ablation technique. Physical characterization is executed by XRD, FT-IR, and FESEM. The effect of different laser irradiation time in optical properties of WO
3
@CMC/PVA composites was examined. Likewise, the pure blend obtains the broadest band gap (direct 5.0 e.V, and indirect 5.4 e.V) which decreases with increasing WO
3
insertion. As well, the drop in bandgap highlights the occurring improvement in crystallographic ordering, that is approved with the XRD diffractograph. The tungsten trioxide sized from 2.5 to 4.2 µm, which declines with increasing laser irradiation time. The graphs of

are presenting a decline pattern by increasing frequencies, then showing constant values with increasing applied frequency. The results direct the research to exploit WO
3
@CMC/PVA films in electrical and optoelectronic studies.
