Abstract
The estimation of the distress mechanism change for low-volume pavements with the help of third-order polynomial equations is the subject of discussion in this study. In the literature, various models are available, but their complex structure has restricted their application for real-life situations. This study is an attempt to provide suitable models for the estimation of pavement deterioration based on pavement distress mechanism changing individually with time. Three models, for the most distress types existing on the network, have been developed using a survey data of 10 years for overlaid sections on the roads network of Riyadh and Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
