Abstract
The aim of this paper is to prove a mean dispersion inequality that limits the concentration of orthonormal sequences on the time-frequency plane and improves the well-known Heisenberg's uncertainty inequality. Then we define and study a class of pseudo-differential operators known as time-frequency operators and we give criteria for its boundedness and Schatten class properties.
