This paper studies the (2 + 1)-dimensional Korteweg-de Vries equation with time-dependent coefficients and full nonlinearity. This equation is also studied with generalized evolution. The ansatz method is used to carry out the integration of the equation to retrieve the topological soliton solution. The constraint conditions are laid down which naturally fall out of the analysis. A couple of numerical simulations are also included.
