Abstract
Two new P-coumaroyl flavonol glycosides, Kaempferol 3-O-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 -> 4)-alpha-L-rhamno-pyranosyl-(1 -> 4)-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1 -> 6)-(4 trans- P-coumaroyl)]-beta-D- galactopyranoside (1) and Quercetin 3-O-[b-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 -> 4)-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1 -> 4)-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1 -> 6)-(4 trans- P-coumaroyl)]-beta-D- galactopyranoside (2) were isolated from the aerial part of Centaurium spicatum (L.) Fritsch (Gentianaceae). Structure elucidation of the new compounds was established on the basis of 1D and 2D NMR analyses including H-1, C-13 NMR, DEPT-135 NMR, H - H COSY, HMQC and HMBC experiments. In addition to HRFAB Mass Spectrometry. Also it is noted that these new compounds significantly increase both TNF-alpha and IL-1 beta after 48 h of treatment (this level of increase of cytokines (300/200) activates the cytokines like vaccines towards invasion of microorganisms).
