Abstract
This paper is devoted to the study of boundary layers for a system of equations inherited from a threshold model between the compressible and incompressible Navier-Stokes equations. Indeed, when the viscosity is small enough, which is for example the case for water or air flows, and the domain is bounded, we observe large variations of the solutions near the boundary. More precisely, we derive the asymptotic behavior of the velocity profile with respect to the small viscosity in some adequate Sobolev spaces.
