Abstract
For understanding the evolutionary divergence of metazoans, the central nervous system, a brain, is a key organ because of its highly organized developmental patterning system and its function. In the brain research, thousands of data are produced such as sequences, gene expression data, gene network data, protein structure data, MRI images, and disease symptom. An explosive increase of these brain-related data provides us a chance to analyze fundamental biological phenomena of the brain and the evolution. As the data increases, however, we faced new problems how we deal with and analyze an enormously large amount of data. Thus, the establishment of a novel management system for these data is one of the most essential tasks in the research of the brain. Here, we introduce our approach for the intuitive analysis of the brain by use of the integration and visualization of the biological data.
