Abstract
The aim was to investigate Arabic Language Teachers' (ARL) perceptions on the effectiveness of WhatsApp during Covid-19, the challenges of WhatsApp during Covid-19 as perceived by ARL teachers, and the advantages and disadvantages of WhatsApp during Covid-19 as perceived by ARL teachers. The population of the study was ARL teachers, either immigrants or natives, in Educational. 300 Arabic Language teachers were selected randomly from this population. An online survey was created by CIoogle Does. It consisted of two parts: sociodemographic, and teachers' perspectives on teaching online effectiveness. Respondents agreed to the importance of involving WhatsApp in the educational field. When asked about the challenges of WhatsApp during Covid-19 , the ARL teachers emphasized that they faced a set of challenges through online learning due to the abrupt shift from face-to-face instruction to online instruction. The challenges came from three sources: challenges from the teacher, challenges from the student, and challenges from the educational content.
